Products I've Used Up // September

This month I am trying something new. Usually I do one of these posts every month but this time I collected all of my used up products for two months and put all all of them together into one longer post. It turned out to be a really long post so I am not sure whether I will do this again.

Yankee Candle Tart Spiced Orange: This is a wonderful scent for autumn and winter. The name says it all: it makes your whole room smell like spicy orange. If you want to try Yankee Candle but you cannot afford their big candles try their tarts! You do not have a whole tart at once. I just break of a corner of the tart to melt and that is definitely enough for me.

Garnier 2-in-1 Eye-Make-Up Remover waterproof: This is a product I use up and repurchase all the time. It has been part of my everyday routine for forever and I am almost through my next bottle of this.

tetsept A Portion of Love Champagne-berry & Currant Bath Salt: As soon as the temperatures started to drop over the last week I got excited about baths again. First of all I love the packaging and the scent combination is lovely. When you pour this into your bath water the scent is sadly not very strong - but the color is give to the water is wonderful. It turns your bath water deep purple and with the white and silver swirls it makes the bath water look like a magic potion. It keeps my skin from drying out but it does not moisturize it either. To me this is fine but not amazing.

Isana Shower Gel & alverde Shower Gel: Out of these two shower gels I liked the alverde one better. The Isana shower gel had a stronger scent (that I really liked) but I did not like the consistency as much. The alverde shower gel is thicker and I think it moisturizes my skin better. Over all I still liked both of them and I would repurchase either one.

alverde Shower Sorbet Rhubarb & Orange: This was a really nice shower gel. It moisturizes well and the scent is lovely. It usually takes a while for me to repurchase a shower gel because I like to try new scents and there are sadly not a lot of different scents available.

Balea Shaving Gel Pink Grapefruit: I can only recommend Balea shower gels. They are inexpensive, smell wonderful, work well with my sensitive skin and the packaging is gorgeous.

Nivea Repair & Care Conditioner: I wrote a whole separate review about this conditioner you can check out here: click.

Guhl Conditioner: loved this conditioner. It makes my hair really soft, smooth and easy to brush through. I already repurchased this and I think I will try out a lot more Guhl ahir producsts in teh future. I have used Guhl products before but for some reason I just forgot about the brand and now I am so excited about it again.

Garnier Fructies  Oil Repair 3 Hair Mask: Best hair mask ever. It has an amazing effect on my hair. It does everything I want a hair mask to do and I have repurchased this numerous times and it was part of my favorite products of 2015.

wellaflex Hair Spray Volume: Considering how long it took me (and my boyfriend) to use up hairspray before I was quite surprised at how quickly we used up this bottle - even though it is only a travel size. I liked it and repurchased the exact same one already.

alverde Creme-Oil-Lotion Jasmine & Sesame: I am not a big fan of body lotion but for a lack of  body butter selection in the drugstores I decided to try this one. It is moisturizing and it does its job but after I used this up the first thing I used was a body butter - and I remembered why I am team body butter again. This body lotion does not moisturize as well and it does not sink in as quickly as I want it to. If you are a fan of body lotions you might like this but I myself will not repurchase this.

Gillette Venus Spa Breeze Blades: I have repurchased these blades for years now. They work well, last a long time and the scent is amazing. What I do not like is the prize. I have tried cheaper blades before but they never work with my sensitive skin and they go blunt really quickly. So spending less money on something that simply does not work isn't worth it in the end. That is why I keep repurchasing these but the prize makes me hesitate every time.

Drugstore Haul // May Part I

This is the first part of my monthly drugstore haul. I shopped quite a lot of stuff because I ran out of a lot of products I had to repurchase and because I am about to go on a trip and needed a few more things for that.

Maybelline Super Stay Forever Strong Gel Nail Color Rouge Laqué 501 Cherry Sin: I love wearing red nails. This is the perfect red shade from one of my favorite brand of nail polishes ever. I have already worn this and it stayed on my nails for a week without chipping. I love this nail polish!

Astor Perfect Stay Gel Shine Nail Polish 502/302 Crème Brulée: I am pretty sure this nail polish going to be in my monthly favorites. I have worn this color multiple time now and it stays on my nail very well and the color is simply amazing.

Astor Nail Polish Quick & Shine 502 Hot Chocolate Season: I have not worn this color yet but I have been eyeing it for moths now. This to me is the perfect going-out-at-night nail polish and I am very excited to try it out.

ebelin Nail Polish Remover: I am going on a trip this week and I want to take nail polish remover with me. This is not the nail polish remover I usually use but this still works fine. I plan on reusing the packaging for traveling after I use this up.

Nivea Fresh Flower Deodorant: This is another miniature product I got to travel with and carry around in my purse. There is no other reason for why I picked this particular one other than that it was the only miniature deodorant available without aluminium.

Sun Dance Après Creme: I am paler than anybody else I know so I get a sunburn very easily. I buy the Sun Dance Aprés Creme every year and it works very well with my skin.

DontoDent Fluor Fresh Toothpaste: I have never used this before but I am not picky about which toothpaste I use so I guess it will be fine. Again I got a miniature size for traveling.

tetesept A Portion of Love Champagne-Berry & Blueberry Bath Salt: I adore tetesept bath products and this one smells amazing. I am very much looking forward to trying this!

Products I've Used Up // January

Dove Body Lotion Winter Care: For a body lotion this wasn't too bad actually. I have very dry skin and therefore I do prefer body butter to body lotion. Since my favorite body butter is currently not available (which is taking longer than I thought!) I tried body lotion instead. This is the most moisturizing body lotion I have ever used which would make me repurchase it if I did not hate the scent. Somehow in the bottle the scent is not too bad but whenever I use it I really do not like it. I did not repurchase this but maybe I will try another Dove body lotion in the future?

tetsept bubble bath: This product has been in previous favorites posts for a reason. I really like it! If you want movie-like bubble baths with a lot of bubbles this how you get them. I have not repurchase it yet because even though it is still winter I only take baths in the autumn and winter time and so I will wait until the end of the year to get another bubble bath product. At least that is the plan...

Balea Shower Gel & Oil Pearls : Surprisingly I really liked this shower gel. Usually I cannot recommend Balea shower gels because They dry out my skin - this one was different. I liked everything about it, the only thing that bothers me is that the scent is not very strong and that there are no alternative scents available. That is why I have not repurchased this shower gel yet. I think I will buy it again but right now I want to try out other scents and other brands.

Garnier 2 in 1 Eye Make Up Remover: I guess this is becoming a regular in these posts. Again I will just post a link to a review I wrote in November you can check out here: click.

Nivea Long Repair Conditioner: This is one of those products that is not bad but not good enough to repurchase. I can tell a definite difference between using this conditioner and not using any conditioner at all. My hair is easier to brush through and it does not feel as dry as it would without using conditioner. In the end I like other conditioners better which is why I would not repurchase it but if you want to give it a try, go for it.

L'oréal Skin Perfection: This balm has lasted so long, it is ridiculous. This is not the perfect pore minimizing balm I am looking for but since I like the new Teint Perfection balm by Balea a lot less I do already miss this product. Since I already wrote a review about this I will link it here: click.

Products I've Used Up // November

Balea Shaving Gel Blueberry Love: This is my favorite shaving gel that I repurchase all the time. I try out new scents from time to time but in the end I always come back to this.

L'oréal hair expertise conditioner for damaged hair: This is a rather expensive collection by L'oréal. Considering that - even though I did like the product and it took good care of my hair - I will not repurchase this conditioner.

theBodyShop Lemon Sugar Scrub: I need to get my hands on another body scrub by theBodyShop. They are by far my favorites! They do always smell wonderful and work amazing on my skin. I think I prefer the gel ones over the sugar consistency but that is just personal preference.

Weleda skin food: This is by far my favorite night time moisturizer. It has quite a thick consistency and leaves your skin feeling sticky for a while but at night I do not really care about that. I do notice a difference when I switch my moisturizer out at night and use my normal daytime one - it is just not enough. My skin is really dry and this is the only moisturizer that keeps my skin from getting flaky. I already repurchased this one.

Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara Waterproof: I repurchase this mascara so often, I do not think I have to talk about how much I like it anymore, right?

Garnier Eye Make Up Remover 2 in 1: I already repurchased this. It is not a perfect product but it is the best eye make up remover for waterproof mascara that I know of.

tetesept cuddle-time bath salt: tetesept bath products are one of my favorites. I do not think I have ever been disappointed by one. Next time I think I want to try the new alverde bath salts but I will probably still repurchase this one.

Products I've used up // October

Nivea shampoo long repair: I loved this in the beginning. It even made it into my June Favorites. With my hair shampoos change the way they work after a while. In the beginning it worked really well but in the end I did not like it that much anymore. My hair got greasy rather fast and I was really happy when I finally used it up.

Palmolive shower gel thermal spa aqua calm: I do not really get the hype. Maybe I just do not like Palmolive products. This was not an awful shower gel but I also did not love it. I do not think I will buy Palmolive shower gels again.

tetesept Limited Edition winter fairytale bath: This is an all time favorite of mine. I like the scent, the color and the way it feels on my skin. I generally really enjoy tetesept bath products and after I use up all my backups I will probably buy it again.

September // Favorites & Flops

I cannot believe September is already over! How can it already be October? When it comes to beauty and fashion autumn is definitely my favorite season. I am so excited for the months to come!

essence all about nudes eye shadow paletteI love  this. I resisted buying this palette for a while since I already own a lot of eyeshadows and really did not need this (do you ever need make up?). When it went on sale I could not hold back anymore. I love every color in this palette. There is not one I do not use. This is definitely one of those products that I will use in my everyday make up a lot. So worth it!

Urban Decay primer potion: When you want to wear eye shadow you need a primer - or at least I do. Nothing ever stays on my lids for more than  five minutes without an eye shadow primer. I have had this for a while now but I do not talk about it a lot since it is pretty much a no-brainer. I do prefer this over the NARS eye shadow base and over any other drugstore primer I ever tried. It is pricey but in my opinion totally worth it.

tetesept bubble bath: I have talked about this before in my February Favorites of this year. With the weather getting colder and the beginning of autumn I have rediscovered my love for bubble baths. This is an amazing product for movie-like bubbles to fill up your bath tube. I am not the biggest fan of the packaging but that probably won't keep me from repurchasing.

FLOPS

alverde eye creme for dry skin: I had such high hopes for this! My eye area is very sensitive and there are a lot of eye cremes that do not work for me. Sadly this is one of them. It might even be the worst. It dried out my skin and left some really strange white residue on my skin. It made my eye area feel really tight (not in a good way) and really uncomfortable. I do not know whether I might be allergic to it or whether this is simply a 'bad' product. Usually I never have problems with alverde skin care. I stopped using this and got an alternative eye creme after giving it a try for a few days. I cannot recommend this product.

Nivea eye make up remover: I think I have owned this before. I do not know when but somehow I have bad memories of this product. Why did I still buy it? I love the other make up remover by Nivea I used recently. After trying it once I already decided I had to get another one. I hate it. It burns in my eyes and it does not do a good job at removing my eye make up. What little mascara that it does take off my lashes it just gets it all over your eye area and you just end up looking like a panda.

Products I've used up - September

Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara waterproofMy new favorite mascara that I have already repurchased! I did not even think about switching it up because I am absolutely happy with this mascara.

Catrice Eyebrow pencil 040 Don't Let Me Brow'nEyebrows are always a work in progress for me. I do prefer pencil over powder so far but it is hard to find your perfect color for that. My eyebrows are black. As in pitch black. The problem it that I cannot fill in my brows with black because that just looks awful. Then what else? That is the big question! This eye brow pencil was okay but I am not too sure about the color yet. I really liked the little brush at the end and repurchased this pencil already - even though I chose a different color this time.

Herbal essences shampoo with honey and apricot for stronger hairThis was a great shampoo. I did not like the conditioner at all but the shampoo was quite the opposite. I do have dry, long hair and it really worked my hair type (It even made it into my June Favorites!). I do have a lot of shampoo at home so I will not repurchase this any time soon... but maybe next year?

NIVEA double effect eye-make-up remover waterproofI wanted to repurchase this but they did not stock it at the store. Since I was already running out I got another product by Nivea because I actually really liked this make up remover. I already did a review of this so I won't talk too much about this.

tetesept limited edition buttermilk splash bath saltI really enjoy tetesept bath products. This does not give of the strongest scent but it turned the bath water bright sunshine yellow and it keeps your skin from drying out. Dry skin in the bath tube? Maybe I am the only one with this problem but tetesept bath products really help with that if you struggle with this as well.

Palmolive Feel Dynamic shower gelI hated this. Well, as much as you can hate a shower gel. I am so happy I have finally used this up! If you want to know what I did not like about this product you read about it in last months Favorites & Flops post right here: click!

alverde eye creme for normal skinBest eye creme ever! I really wanted to repurchased it but I could not. There was no dm near by and I was already running out. That is why I did buy another eye creme by a brand I have never even heard of before instead of my all time favorite. This will be the eye creme I buy next time I run out again!

Yves Rocher cacao collection cacao & raspberry hand creme: This has taken me forever to use up - no joke. In the beginning I really liked the scent but now I just do not want to smell that ever again. Over all this was a good hand creme that has lasted me for a long time but I am really excited to start using a new one I have already waiting for me in my make-up drawer.

September Drugstore HAUL - Part 2

In comparison to the first part of this collective haul this seems to be the a little more boring part. The fun make-up stuff was in the first part of this post which you can check out here: click! This part is more about 'necessities' which can be really hard to find.

Catrice eyebrow stylist 050 Charlie Brow'n Is Black In Town: I owned this before but in a different color. I believe this is the darkest shade they sell. My eyebrows are literally pitch black so I will see how this works for me since I think this is exactly what this brow pencil is supposed to be good for.

cos nature eye creme in pomegranate: I have never even heard of this brand before so I have no idea what to expect at all. I do love the scent of pomegranate but I do not know yet if I would actually want my eye creme to smell of that.

Nivea eye make up remover waterproof: I think I have used this before but I really cannot remember when that was. I originally wanted to repurchase an other Nivea eye make up remover but it seems as though they do not sell that anymore which is really sad because I liked that one a lot.

Garnier eye make up remover 2 in 1: Let's just say the Nivea one did not work out for me - so I had to get another one. How hard can it be to find a good drugstore make up remover for waterproof mascara? Very, apparently.

tetesept Limited Edition winter fairytale bath & cuddle-time bath salt: I do like tetesept bath products and I have used the winter fairytale bath they came out with last year before. We will see if they changed anything about that formula. I do like the scent of the cuddle-time bath salt but I do have to admit the packaging is - in my opinion - a fail. It is just not pretty.

Balea shaving gel blueberry love: I repurchase this all the time so there really is not much to say about it. As always I love the packaging and the scent is amazing.

ebelin cotton pads:  I usually do not include cotton pads in my hauls but this time I thought I would. These are by far my favorites. They are very soft and not harsh on your skin while still being sturdy enough to not fall apart when using them.

What is you favorite eye make up remover for waterproof make up?
Please tell me you know a good one!

Product's I've used up - June

This month I used up a lot of products. O one hand that is great because it means I can start using a lot of new products. On the other hand it also means I have to repurchase a lot of things which is not the best for my wallet...

Pantene Pro-V conditioner for straight hair

I love this. This is my second bottle and I already repurchased it. They always change the packaging and I am not sure how I like that. I think I prefer the old version. I does take e a long time to use up a conditioner because I do not use the one every time I wash my hair. This is the only conditioner that I have ever tried that actually makes my hair stay more straight. It also makes your hair easy to brush through and less frizzy.

Guhl Shampoo

I liked this but it is just too much for every day use. I might repurchase this one day but not now. When you feel like your hair needs to really be deep cleaned this is the product for you. Otherwise it was just too much for my hair. After using this a few times in a row my hair felt very dry and got oily quite quickly.

Schwarzkopf got2b anti-frizz lotion

I need to repurchase this. I have been using this on my hair for years now and I still love it.

Rituals shower foam

This took forever to use up. I literally used this for months. You only need very little of it because it turns into a lot of foam. I did like it and the scent is something very special. I got this as a present but I am not sure I would spent that much money on it myself.

NIVEA shower gel

I think I get where all the hype comes from. The scent and texture are amazing. I feel like it takes better care of my skin then the Rituals one. I obviously used this up a lot faster than that one but I do not mind that since the NIVEA shower gel is a lot cheaper and I get to change it up more.

Balea shaving gel Blueberry Love

I always repurchase this. Balea just came out with new scents so I will probably switch it up. I still really liked this scent - and the packaging is amazing as always.

tetesept bath pearls

I liked this one. It colored the water in bright orange but the scent was barely noticeable once the pearls dissolved. I do not think I will repurchase this simply because there are better products out there.

ebelin cotton pads & Lacura cotton pads

The ebelin cotton pads are my favorite. I only used the ones by Lacura to take of my nail polish. They are good for that but I do not like using them on my skin. They leave white fluff all over my eyes and are not a gentle as the ebelin ones.

June Drugstore HAUL

There is not a single 'evergreen' product in this haul! Well... I did buy toothpaste and cotton pads, but they did not really have to be included in here, right?

Garnier Fructies hair mask

I owned this mask before but that was years ago. I remember it being amazing and every hair mask I have tried since has failed in comparison. That means I have pretty ridiculously high expectations.

Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara waterproof

I love the non-waterproof version of this mascara. Usually I stay away from waterproof products but since I tried the waterproof version of my favorite liquid eyeliner by Catrice I wanted to try this one too. My best friend loves this mascara, so I guess I will as well.

NIVEA double effect eye-make-up remover

I needed a new make-up remover that also removes waterproof eye-make-up. Normally I do not really rely on 'this product is great' prints on packaging but this time they got me. I have never heard or read a review on this product but it said 'for a sensitive eye area' and 'removes even extreme waterproof eye-make-up while protecting your eyelashes'. I do not know whether it will be able to live up to that but I love my NIVEA three in one cleansing fluid so I do have high expectations.

NIVEA in-shower body milk with honey & milk

This was on sale otherwise I probably would not have bought it. I owned the original version of this product before and really liked it. Since this is meant to specifically help with dry skin I think I might like this even more.

 bebe shower gel pomegranate smoothie

I hardly ever buy bebe products. I do not know why. I got this shower gel because I love the scent of pomegranate and I hope this shower gel will be more moisturizing than some of the others I owned before.

alverde plant oil soap verbena

I cannot recall where but I heard somebody recommend this soap for cleaning your make-up brushes. I freaking love the scent. If this was a perfume I would wear it.

tetesept limited edition Sundowner bath pearls tetesept limited edition buttermilk splash bathsalt

I discovered my love for tetesept bath products last winter and now I am excited to try the summer limited edition ones.
