Drugstore Haul // May Part II

This is the second part to my May drugstore haul. These are basically all products that I got for a trip I will take this week, others where simply products that I had to repurchase.

Nivea Repair & Care Conditioner: I got this conditioner because I usually like Nivea hair products and this one was on sale. Even though this is a normal size conditioner I will take this with me on my trip because the packaging is rather travel-friendly.

Balea Heat Protection Spray: I am almost out of heat protection spray and I usually use the spray be Schwarzkopf. Since I do not really love that product I wanted to try something new.

Wellaflex Extra Strong Hair Spray: I am not an expert when it comes to hairspray. I just like the wellaflex hairspray I used so far and so I got another miniature version of it.

Balea Shaving Gel Pink Grapefruit for sensitive skin: My favorite shaving gel is this one by Balea so I got it in a travel size to take along with me on a trip.

Balea Shower Gel with Oil Pearls: I had this shower gel before in a different scent and really liked it. Another - slightly more stupid reason - is that the packaging is really summery, fresh and pretty.

alverde Creme-Oil-Body-Lotion in Jasmine and Sesame: I usually prefer body butter to body lotion but right now there are actually no body butters available in the drugstore that I am interested in. Since I like other alverde moisturizers and this is meant for very dry skin I decided to give it a try.

Travel Container Set: This is something I should have bought a long time ago. Travel size shampoos and shower gels are generally so over prized that this will really pay of in the long run.

What are your must have products for your summer vacation?

Drugstore Haul // May Part I

This is the first part of my monthly drugstore haul. I shopped quite a lot of stuff because I ran out of a lot of products I had to repurchase and because I am about to go on a trip and needed a few more things for that.

Maybelline Super Stay Forever Strong Gel Nail Color Rouge Laqué 501 Cherry Sin: I love wearing red nails. This is the perfect red shade from one of my favorite brand of nail polishes ever. I have already worn this and it stayed on my nails for a week without chipping. I love this nail polish!

Astor Perfect Stay Gel Shine Nail Polish 502/302 Crème Brulée: I am pretty sure this nail polish going to be in my monthly favorites. I have worn this color multiple time now and it stays on my nail very well and the color is simply amazing.

Astor Nail Polish Quick & Shine 502 Hot Chocolate Season: I have not worn this color yet but I have been eyeing it for moths now. This to me is the perfect going-out-at-night nail polish and I am very excited to try it out.

ebelin Nail Polish Remover: I am going on a trip this week and I want to take nail polish remover with me. This is not the nail polish remover I usually use but this still works fine. I plan on reusing the packaging for traveling after I use this up.

Nivea Fresh Flower Deodorant: This is another miniature product I got to travel with and carry around in my purse. There is no other reason for why I picked this particular one other than that it was the only miniature deodorant available without aluminium.

Sun Dance Après Creme: I am paler than anybody else I know so I get a sunburn very easily. I buy the Sun Dance Aprés Creme every year and it works very well with my skin.

DontoDent Fluor Fresh Toothpaste: I have never used this before but I am not picky about which toothpaste I use so I guess it will be fine. Again I got a miniature size for traveling.

tetesept A Portion of Love Champagne-Berry & Blueberry Bath Salt: I adore tetesept bath products and this one smells amazing. I am very much looking forward to trying this!

What have you shopped for this moth?

Travel Make Up Essentials

I am going home to my parents place for almost a month but I did not want to bring a massive amount of make up. I packed things for an everyday look and products I wanted to wear for going out with my friends. I did not pack any foundation because I hardly ever wear foundation and I find it a waste of space in my bag most of the time.

Catrice Big City Life Limited Edition - The Paris Collection
This was a limited edition palette but you can find pallets like this at for example benefit. The palette contains two blushes and an eye pencil which is why I did not pack any additional ones. The eyeshadows are all shimmery but I wore so many mat shades over the winter that I did not feel like packing more mat shadows for this trip. I love all the colors in this palette- they are great for everyday wear! Catrice had three limited editions like this yet and I have some palettes from every collection - I can highly recommend them all. So next time you see one get it!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
If I want to wear eye make up I need to take a primer with me and this is my current favorite. I don't think I have to talk about this much, do I? Everybody knows it and I do not think I ever heard of anyone not liking it.

Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara
I really like this mascara so far but I have not used it long enough to tell you how I really feel about it.

Catrice Liquid Liner 010 Dating Joe Black
I was really into liquid liner for the last year and I still like to wear it now and then. I had other "types" of eyeliner before (like gel or pencil) but I like this one the best.

essence clear brow & lash mascara and Catrice Eyeshadow Duo 070 Double Espresso Macchiato, Please!
The eyeshadow duo that I use to fill in my brows is no longer available, sorry - but the brow gel is! This product is not the best but I have not found a better one yet. It does not keep my brows in place for the whole day but it is still a lot better than not putting anything on. I also like the look it gives to my brows... I do'nt really know what it is :P

Sleek i-Divine Storm Palette
I have had this palette for a while now but never really used it. The only colors I used are the mat black shadow and the other two brown mat shades. I packed this palette because I needed an black eyeshadow and because I want to try using it more! I think I can do great everyday looks with this but also create looks for going out.

Catrice Mattifying powder in 5 shades 020 Sand Beige
This would be way too dark for me to use all over my face - that would look really strange :D I use this product for contouring. I love the packaging and the look of the product. Somehow I also like the smell of it but I don't think it's supposed to be scented ;)

Maybelline Pure Powder 015 Translucent
The first face powder I ever bought was this one just in another color. That is why I cannot compare it to any other ones but I can say that I like it and I repurchased this a few times now.

I really like this concealer and I will buy it again if I ever use it up. The color is perfect for my skin tone and I like how it applies.

Hema lipstick 30 Pure Shine
I packed the Catrice lipstick for going out, the essence one for everyday and the Hema lipcolor for whenever I feel like wearing red :P I did swatches of these lipsticks before so I only swatched the Hema lipstick for this post because I don't think I did that before. It does not have the best quality but considering the price I am fine with that.

And how do I transport all of that? Like this! My brushes all fit into the Zoeva Bamboo Brush Role (on the right) which makes transporting them a lot easier. My make up bag is from Rossmann. I love the design and the size of it. It looks rather small but you can fit a lot of stuff in there. Rossmann sells a wide range of make up bags and they constantly change the designs. If you are on the hunt for a new one definitely check out Rossmann.

What do you take with you when you travel? What palettes or eyeshadows do you bring? How much do you take? And how do you transport it?

Love,

 - Myra
