Repurchases & Decor // September 2016

I just realized after taking the pictures for this post that all of these products - besides the candles - are repurchases. So I might as well call this a favorites-haul. I only repurchase products I really liked or I missed after using them up. Some if these products I have even repurchased multiple times.

essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer: When it comes to top coats mine usually start drying out before I actually use them up. I do not really no why that is because that never happens to my normal nail polishes. My current top coat - also by essence - is starting to get ticker and harder to put on and it is probably time to replace it.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 010 Porcelain: I already wrote a detailed review about this concealer that check out here: click. I still really like this concealer and since there is no new concealer out this season that I am curious about I just repurchased this one.

Catrice Glam & Doll Volume Mascara Waterproof: This must be in my top three most repurchased products of all time. This is by far my favorite mascara and would recommend you to check it out.

alverde Facial Oil Wild Rose for dry skin: I almost feel like every time I go to dm alverde has changed their packaging. They do it all the time. I like the new design but I also liked the old one so as long as the formula has not changed I am happy with this. My skin type is changing at the moment and I am still trying to figure out how to deal with that but I think this will still work for me.

wellaflex Volume Hairspray: I don't actually use that much hairspray - but my boyfriend does. We both like this hairspray and so I just repurchased it without thinking to much about it. They - just like alverde - change their packaging all the time. In this case I actually preferred the old design.

alverde Shower Gel with Pomegranate & Ginger: How often do you repurchase shower gel? I hardly ever do that. This shower gel on the other hand even made it into my January Favorites

Garnier Fructies Oil Repair 3 Hair Mask: It is a little ridiculous that after repurchasing this so many times and loving it every time I still contemplate about maybe getting another hair mask every time I am at the drugstore. This is the most moisturizing,  detangling and simply amazing hair mask I have ever tried.

Candles: I love shopping for little decor pieces at Rossmann. They have a great range and they release new stuff all the time. You should also definitely check out their scented candles - they offer great, inexpensive and a little more special scents all year around.

What are your most repurchased products?

Drugstore & Decor SALE HAUL - Rossmann & Xenos

This is a different haul for me be because I actually managed to only buy what I had intended to purchase :)
Rossmann had a 30% on all mascaras sale going on which was perfect because mascara is what I went there for. I had heard lost of good things about the Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara and I have never tried a mascara with a wand like this. I am almost out of my essence eyebrow gel  and because it is labeled as lash and brow mascara it was on sale as well.

I have been looking for something to store my tea in for what fees like forever! My best friend has this exact box from Xenos in pink, so I had to go there and get one for myself. It was only 1.99 Euro :) It does not fit all of my tea but it has enough space for my favorites.

What is that last thing called? I have no idea. You can put a tea candle inside and then put (in my case) a tart by Yankee candle on top so it melts. I like the simplicity of it and it was only 1.49Euro.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul. I used to do collective hauls more often but I personally like little hauls like this as well.

DIY - mason jar decor

I love decorating my place - and because I do not have a tone of money to spend on that hobby I love doing DIYs. You can buy jars like this one in every home decor store nowadays but it is so easy and more inexpensive to make them your own. All you need is a jar of what ever size you want (mine was just a glass of cherries), an permanent marker (that writes on glass permanently) and some kind of pattern you want to draw on the jar.

If there are any labels on the jar you want to use you can let it soak in warm water and soap for a few minutes so you can easily peal of the labels. When the jar is clean and dry you are ready to continue. I wanted a simple "S" on mine for "straws" because that is what I wanted to store in it. I printed out the letter "S"  in "Algerian" in a size 200 and cut it out. If you want any other designs you can add them around the letter. After that you put the paper inside the jar, position it where you want the design to be and tape it to the glass so it does not move anymore. Then you take your your permanent marker and draw your design directly onto the jar. I had to do two coats until it was opaque. The only thing you have to do now is to remove the draft from within the jar and you are done!

Do you do DIYs to decorate at home? Do you have any ideas for me to do?
