Drugstore Haul // October

Can you believe it is already October? It is finally getting colder and autumn has definitely arrived. I love this time of the year. When it comes to drugstore products they often skip autumn and jump straight into winter and Christmas scents. I would prefer some actual autumn products that are maybe pumpkin-scented or something like that. Still, I love most of the new scents and I am excited to try these new products out. Some of them have nothing to do with autumn but I had to restock on some essentials as well.

dusch das Shower Gel Red Apple & Grenadine: I cannot believe I never noticed this in the shelves before! Apples are probably my favorite food and I love everything apple-scented. This apple and grenadine and it smells amazing. The only thing I already know I will not like about this is the color of the gel. Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty in the packaging but I do not like my shower gel to be red.

Guhl Deep Repair Conditioner: I repurchased this conditioner before I even used it up. I knew  I wanted to try another Guhl conditioner because I liked the last one I used so much. When I was in the store and debated about what to get I just decided to repurchase the one I loved so much. I still want to try other versions of this conditioner and I think the next shampoo I am going to buy will also be by Guhl.

Dresdner Essenz  Limited Edition Winter Magic Bath: This is a caramel and apple scented bath and it smells delicious. Dresdner Essenz came out with more Christmas scents and I am excited about pretty much all of them but it is a little too early for me for ginger bread and similar scents. I don't think I have ever tried Dresdner Essenz products but if I like this one I am definitely trying out more.

Dresdner Essenz Aroma-Creme Bath Pomegranate: Usually I add a little bubble bath when I use another bath salt or bath product that does not produce bubbles itself.  I really like pomegranate and I am looking forward to trying this product out.

alverde Body Butter Macadamia Nut: This used to be my favorite body butter ever and it still would be to this day if they had not changed their scent to one of the few things I really cannot stand. Every body butter or body lotion for dry skin in the drugstore is either made with sheabutter or macadamia nut and I really don't like those scents. Since I am beginning to run out of options I decided to go back to what I already know I love even if I dislike the scent.

Balea Shaving Gel Limited Edition Oriental Flower: I have talked about this shaving gel a million times but still wanted to include it because there is a new scent in the range! I am always excited about their new scents (even if I do have to admit it would be a more autumn or winter related) and the design is again amazing.

Yankee Candle Tart Spiced Orange: This scent reminds me so much of autumn and winter and cold weather and all those good things. I wanted to repurchase this tart last year but I could not find it anywhere. That is why I was even more excited when I spotted it in the shops.

Profissimo Apple Cinnamon Scented Tealights: When discovered these tealights in dm last week I was really excited about it because I have owned these before and did not think I would ever find these again. The scent is phenomenal (can you tell I like apple scented things?) and can fill up the whole room.

Garnier Eye-Make-Up Remover 2-in-1 Waterproof: With the change of the season I got back into wearing eye-make-up and liner and all this good stuff. That also means I have been using a lot more of this eye-make-up remover than I did in the summer time.

ebelin Polishing Nail File: When you wear nail polish for a long continues time and switch it out again and again your nails are going to suffer from that. Then you have to take better care of nails to keep them healthy. I find that filing my nails properly and taking care of them in that way makes a big difference. The nail polish goes on smoother and it lasts longer because there is no 'broken' nail under the polish and it can stick to a healthy, smooth nail that will make it last longer.

Drugstore Haul // May Part I

This is the first part of my monthly drugstore haul. I shopped quite a lot of stuff because I ran out of a lot of products I had to repurchase and because I am about to go on a trip and needed a few more things for that.

Maybelline Super Stay Forever Strong Gel Nail Color Rouge Laqué 501 Cherry Sin: I love wearing red nails. This is the perfect red shade from one of my favorite brand of nail polishes ever. I have already worn this and it stayed on my nails for a week without chipping. I love this nail polish!

Astor Perfect Stay Gel Shine Nail Polish 502/302 Crème Brulée: I am pretty sure this nail polish going to be in my monthly favorites. I have worn this color multiple time now and it stays on my nail very well and the color is simply amazing.

Astor Nail Polish Quick & Shine 502 Hot Chocolate Season: I have not worn this color yet but I have been eyeing it for moths now. This to me is the perfect going-out-at-night nail polish and I am very excited to try it out.

ebelin Nail Polish Remover: I am going on a trip this week and I want to take nail polish remover with me. This is not the nail polish remover I usually use but this still works fine. I plan on reusing the packaging for traveling after I use this up.

Nivea Fresh Flower Deodorant: This is another miniature product I got to travel with and carry around in my purse. There is no other reason for why I picked this particular one other than that it was the only miniature deodorant available without aluminium.

Sun Dance Après Creme: I am paler than anybody else I know so I get a sunburn very easily. I buy the Sun Dance Aprés Creme every year and it works very well with my skin.

DontoDent Fluor Fresh Toothpaste: I have never used this before but I am not picky about which toothpaste I use so I guess it will be fine. Again I got a miniature size for traveling.

tetesept A Portion of Love Champagne-Berry & Blueberry Bath Salt: I adore tetesept bath products and this one smells amazing. I am very much looking forward to trying this!

Products I've Used Up // April

I used up a lot of products this month. It is always so satisfying to get rid of them at the end of the moth - and that is exactly what I am gonna do right after I finish writing this post.

essence eau de toilette like a first day in spring: If you are looking for a strong scent that last throughout the entire day essence perfumes are not for you - but did you expect that at that prize? I did not and I am perfectly happy with this eau de toilette. I love the scent itself, the packaging is really cute and I even like the name a lot. It all just fits together really beautifully. Especially if you are young or on a budget this range of perfumes by essence are a great option.

Maybelline the Colossal Volume Express Mascara 100% Black: I liked this non-waterproof mascara but it is not my favorite and I did not like it enough to repurchase it. The wand is really big (as the name would suggest) and the mascara does give volume to my lashes. The problem is that it starts to crumble throughout the day and does not hold the curl of my lashes as well as a waterproof mascara would.

Catrice Glamour & Doll Mascara Waterproof: This my favorite everyday mascara. My allergies have started once again a few weeks ago - that's why waterproof mascara is a must for my make-up routine. I have already repurchased this.

L'occitane Almond Handcreme: L'occitane handcremes are the best handcremes I have ever used. The only problem with that is that they are rather expensive. I got theis handcreme as part of a gift set so I still have a little tube left but after that I do not know what handcreme to get next. Do you have any recommendations?

alverde Wild Rose Oil For Dry Skin: I love this face oil and I have repurchased it multiple times already. This time I tried out a new moisturizer by alverde but I am pretty sure I will go back to this.

ebelin Konjac Skin Care Sponge Green Tea: I do have to admit I only used this sponge once. It is just not the right product for me. It says on the packaging that it is a very gentle scrub but I did not expect it to be that gentle - it basically felt like using a normal sponge. If you have very senstive skin this might work very well for you but it did not work me.

Balea Creme-Oil Face Mask: One side of the package lasts me for three uses but you could probably even stretch it to four. I have very dry skin and this mask did help temporarily. I scrubbed my face about once or twice a week and applied a mask afterwards. I left this mask on for 15 minutes and then massaged the rest into my skin. The mask did not leave my skin sticks or shiny but fresh and well moisturized. I do not think it made my skin less dry in the long run but it does help to moisturize my skin is I have a really "bad skin day".

KUR Profi Line 1-Minute Intense-Conditioner: I got this hair mask from my mother because she did not like the results on her hair. I did not like it either but I still used it up. It hardly has any effect on my hair. It neither moisturized it nor made it easier to brush it after I washed it. I cannot recommend this product.

herbal essences Shampoo for Volume: I really liked this shampoo but I am also excited about having used it up. I have way too many shampoos lined up in my cabinets that I want to use up. I generally like Herbal Essences shampoos but I do not think it gave my hair any more volume than any other shampoos I have used before. I also did not expect it to do that, so I am still happy with it and - after I use up all the other shampoos - I look forward to get back to herbal essences shampoos.

Balea Shaving Foam for Sensitive Skin: The only thing I can say about this is that I simply prefer shaving gel to shaving foam. I have dry and sensitive skin and this did not do work as well for my skin as the Balea shaving gel does.

Drugstore Haul // Ferbuary

There are a lot of products available in the drugstore right now that I am interested in but I held myself back. I did not actually get anything! It's a little silly but I am rather proud of that.

Garnier Fructis Oil Repair 3 Hair Mask: This is my most repurchased hair mask of all time - and I repurchased it again. When it comes to hair products I really enjoy trying out new products so it really does mean something if I repurchase a product multiple times.

Balea Dead Sea Salt Peach-Mango for dry skin: I do not get why so many people are obsessed with shower gel. I only found two types I like so for (one by alverede the other one by Balea). Hopefully this is another one I can add to that list?

ebelin Konjac Skin Care Sponge Grean Tea: This is a little out of my comfort zone. I have never tried anything like this ever before. It is supposed to work like a mild face scrub but we will see how it actually works.

Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara Waterproof: I actually wanted to try the new version of the Glamour Doll mascara but it is sold out everywhere. I am still on the lookout for that one but until I can get my hands on it I am just going to continue using this one.

essence Eyeliner Pen Waterproof 01: I am still looking for the perfect eyeliner. I do not really care if it is a pen or liquid liner. This one is my best friend's favorite liquid liner so of course wanted to give it a try.

September Drugstore HAUL - Part 2

In comparison to the first part of this collective haul this seems to be the a little more boring part. The fun make-up stuff was in the first part of this post which you can check out here: click! This part is more about 'necessities' which can be really hard to find.

Catrice eyebrow stylist 050 Charlie Brow'n Is Black In Town: I owned this before but in a different color. I believe this is the darkest shade they sell. My eyebrows are literally pitch black so I will see how this works for me since I think this is exactly what this brow pencil is supposed to be good for.

cos nature eye creme in pomegranate: I have never even heard of this brand before so I have no idea what to expect at all. I do love the scent of pomegranate but I do not know yet if I would actually want my eye creme to smell of that.

Nivea eye make up remover waterproof: I think I have used this before but I really cannot remember when that was. I originally wanted to repurchase an other Nivea eye make up remover but it seems as though they do not sell that anymore which is really sad because I liked that one a lot.

Garnier eye make up remover 2 in 1: Let's just say the Nivea one did not work out for me - so I had to get another one. How hard can it be to find a good drugstore make up remover for waterproof mascara? Very, apparently.

tetesept Limited Edition winter fairytale bath & cuddle-time bath salt: I do like tetesept bath products and I have used the winter fairytale bath they came out with last year before. We will see if they changed anything about that formula. I do like the scent of the cuddle-time bath salt but I do have to admit the packaging is - in my opinion - a fail. It is just not pretty.

Balea shaving gel blueberry love: I repurchase this all the time so there really is not much to say about it. As always I love the packaging and the scent is amazing.

ebelin cotton pads:  I usually do not include cotton pads in my hauls but this time I thought I would. These are by far my favorites. They are very soft and not harsh on your skin while still being sturdy enough to not fall apart when using them.

What is you favorite eye make up remover for waterproof make up?
Please tell me you know a good one!

Product's I've used up - June

This month I used up a lot of products. O one hand that is great because it means I can start using a lot of new products. On the other hand it also means I have to repurchase a lot of things which is not the best for my wallet...

Pantene Pro-V conditioner for straight hair

I love this. This is my second bottle and I already repurchased it. They always change the packaging and I am not sure how I like that. I think I prefer the old version. I does take e a long time to use up a conditioner because I do not use the one every time I wash my hair. This is the only conditioner that I have ever tried that actually makes my hair stay more straight. It also makes your hair easy to brush through and less frizzy.

Guhl Shampoo

I liked this but it is just too much for every day use. I might repurchase this one day but not now. When you feel like your hair needs to really be deep cleaned this is the product for you. Otherwise it was just too much for my hair. After using this a few times in a row my hair felt very dry and got oily quite quickly.

Schwarzkopf got2b anti-frizz lotion

I need to repurchase this. I have been using this on my hair for years now and I still love it.

Rituals shower foam

This took forever to use up. I literally used this for months. You only need very little of it because it turns into a lot of foam. I did like it and the scent is something very special. I got this as a present but I am not sure I would spent that much money on it myself.

NIVEA shower gel

I think I get where all the hype comes from. The scent and texture are amazing. I feel like it takes better care of my skin then the Rituals one. I obviously used this up a lot faster than that one but I do not mind that since the NIVEA shower gel is a lot cheaper and I get to change it up more.

Balea shaving gel Blueberry Love

I always repurchase this. Balea just came out with new scents so I will probably switch it up. I still really liked this scent - and the packaging is amazing as always.

tetesept bath pearls

I liked this one. It colored the water in bright orange but the scent was barely noticeable once the pearls dissolved. I do not think I will repurchase this simply because there are better products out there.

ebelin cotton pads & Lacura cotton pads

The ebelin cotton pads are my favorite. I only used the ones by Lacura to take of my nail polish. They are good for that but I do not like using them on my skin. They leave white fluff all over my eyes and are not a gentle as the ebelin ones.
