I just passed an exam that I was terrified to take and had to celebrate that. And how do I like to celebrate? Yeah, I went out with my girlfriends and had ice cream for lunch but I also went a little shopping crazy. hardly ever buy things that are not on sale but this time none of the items I got were on sale.
Blue Jeans - 9.95 Euro
I already own a pair of the exact same jeans. I guess I'm kind of picky with my pants. I' don't like the used look, I don't want any patterns on the pockets and I want them to be (and stay) a dark blue color. These are the perfect jeans or me! I have had similar pants to these that were more expensive but these are the ones that last me the longest and the color doesn't fade that quickly plus the button is a nice color, too (not a shiny gold or silver, because I don't like that either).
White Blouse - 19.95 Euro
I have wanted one of those for forever! I love this one, because it is not too sheer, it has the perfect length and it does not have a collar.
Black Sandals- 9.95 Euro
These are super simple, faux leather, flat sandals that are another basic like the blouse that I somehow never bought before. I feel like this is a very basic haul :P
Brown Faux Leather Bag - 14.95 Euro
I am in love with this bag! It is so simple and small and cute. The size is perfect for when I don't really have to take anything but some money and my phone. I only own small bags for going out at night but I had none for everyday use. It just feels a little stupid to carry a big bag that I usually take to uni when all I do is go grocery shopping. I will use this a lot.
How do you celebrate passing an important exam? Where do you buy your basics?

Cookies & Cream Trend Edition by essence - haul & swatches
I have been on the hunt for this limited edition ever since I saw the press release photos but whenever I finally found a store that had put a Cookies & Cream display everything besides some nail polishes was sold out. Yesterday was my lucky day - I eventually found everything I wanted from the collection! It took me forever but I did it P
essence Cookies & Cream TE eyeshadow 01 So hot, donut!
This is the color I wanted the most! I really don't know how to describe this shade besides it actually reminds me of a donut :D I honestly cannot even tell your whether it has warm or cold undertones.
essence Cookies & Cream TE eyeshadow 03 Last night a cookie saved my life!
Applause to essence for those names - I love them. I was hesitant about this buying this eyeshadow. Not because of the quality but because this feels like exactly the kind of shade I buy all the time. The color does not look that special but the finish does. Just looking at the color I would say it is definitely warm but when I take closer look I am not sure yet again.
essence Cookies & Cream TE blush 01 Cakepop, that's top!
Yeah well, there goes my new year's resolution about not buying any more blushes in 2014. But honestly, how could I pass this up? It is so pretty and unique! I adore the color and the finish. It is not shimmery or glittery but has more of an satin finish.

These swatches were done without a base and after just putting my finger in the product ones.
Left: No base.
Right: Urban Deckay Primer Potion
I don't know why but in the picture it looks like the side with primer underneath has lost all its sheen. In reality that is not the case. They are a little less satin but they basically look exactly like they do in the pan.
I have not had these products for very long, so I cannot tell you too much about them. But if you are lucky enough t find them in stores go get them! I like the quality, the shades the finish and the price is great as well. I am really happy I found these! <3
Did you get anything from the Cookies & Cream collection? I thought about getting the other light eyeshadow too (it looked really nice and I was impressed with the swatches) but I could not justify buying another highlight color.
Oh, and by the way:
Happy Easter! <3

Nail of the Day
Basecoat: p2, Intensive Nail! Hardener
Topcoat: essence, studio nails, better than gel nails, top sealer
Topcoat: essence, studio nails, better than gel nails, top sealer
I have not posted a NOTD in months! Maybe that's because I try not to buy any new nail polishes? Well this time I could not resist! First of all I love the color! I own a lot of light baby pinks but this one is more of an actual nude color. I applied three layers in this photo but I already liked the effect with two coats. It's like a "your nails but better" color if you know what I mean^^ If you take a really close look you could see some white spots on my nails but from a normal distance you cannot tell at all.

Beauty Haul
Maybelline Super Stay Forever Strong 7 Days Gel Nail Color 76 French Manicure
I have been on the hunt for a nude nail polish for a few weeks now. You would think nude colors would be easy to find - but no, they are not. I did not want to splurge on an essie or OPI polish but neither did I want to to buy an essence one and than have it be almost see-through. So I bought the Maybelline polish. It is was 4.35 Euro which is not the cheapest but still about four times cheaper than OPI. I only own one other nail polish by Maybelline and I love it. It stays on my nails for almost a week, the color is magnificent and I only need to apply two coats. Let's hope this one will be just as lovely!
Catrice Made to Stay Inside Eye Highlighter Pen 010 In The Mood For Nude
I am totaly in the mood for nude color right now! ;) I swatched this on my hand the day before I bought it and it stayed where it was for the entire day. That's when I decided I had to get it. It is rather expensive for how little product you get and that it is a drugstore product. I still hope it will stay on my water line for just half as long as it stayed on my hand.
This was a very small haul, but this month I decided to do more small hauls instead of one humongous collective one. Do you like it his way or do you prefer for me to do just one big haul every month or so?

Shampoo Haul
This month I had massive problems with my hair. First I got a hair cut which is never a good thing for me because I like my hair a certain length. Right now it is in that awkward in between length - not really long but also not really short. I have even been thinking about cutting it of like Emma Roberts or Taylor Swift did.
Well, with that problem shampoo cannot really help but with my other hair problems it hopefully will. I spent the month of March at my parent's place where the water is simply a nightmare for my hair. I don't know what it is but my hair simply turns awful when I wash it there. It gets dry, looks bad and gets oily really fast. To help with that I thought I'd switch up my shampoo. Of course I went a little crazy with that. The only one I got to use was the Garnier natural beauty Balsam Shampoo in Vanilla milk & Papaya. It did not change anything at all but I wanted to give it a chance so I used it for the rest of my stay at my parent's. In the end I can say - nope, still did not do anything good for my hair. I have a lot of shampoo to use up but I will update you guys as soon as I use the Guhl shampoo for long hair (which was on sale otherwise I would not have purchased that) and the Garnier Fructis Oil Reair Shampoo for dry hair (which was on sale as well - yay!).
Which shampoo do you use? Any recommendations?

Beauty HAUL - Swatches
There will be a lot of hauls on this blog in the next few days. That is because I a) shopped too much and b) did not post about everything I hauled in March.
Glamour Magazine April 2014
I don't know if they do this anywhere else but in Germany, Austria and Switzerland but here it will soon be "Glamour Shopping Week"! When you buy the April issue of Glamour Magazine you get the Glamour Shopping Card. With that Card you get a lot of percentages off a lot of shops or brands online and in the stores. I usually don't buy magazines but this time had to wait n entire houre for my bus on a really small train station and I had to pass the time ;)
essence eau de toilette like a first day in spring
I got this perfume at the beginning of March and actually wore it at the first day of spring. I like essence perfumes. They do not last throughout the entire day (but do you expect that at that price?) but I like the scent, I love the packaging and I love the size of the bottle! You can buy a bigger version of this but the small one is totally enough for me. I am currently also debating about getting the Made of Starlight by Taylor Swift eau de toilette. Well.... let's see...
essence long lasting lipstick 01 coral calling
I have been eyeing this color since it came out but I always decided to get another one. Maybe that's because I have never worn a coral lip and it sounds a little like "too much for everyday wear" (says the girl who wears dark red lips to uni....). I have only tried it on once yet but I love it! Somehow it seems to work really great with my skin tone. When it comes to the quality of the essence long lasting lipstick Ithink this one is no different from the others I own.
That is it for today. Do you like my new table cloth in the background? I am in love.
Have a wonderful day,
- Myra
